Town of Badin Ordinance 04-6

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 96-3 – AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF SHERMAN STREET

WHEREAS, the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin deems it in the best interest of the health and safety of the citizens of Badin to prohibit parking on the northeast side and allow parking on the southwest (sidewalk side) of Sherman Street from the corner of Mayo Street and Sherman Street to the corner of Lincoln Street and Sherman Street, now;

BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin that this portion of Sherman Street be designated a “No Parking” area by the proper signs.

This ordinance shall be effective as soon as said street areas are designated by the proper signs.

Duly passed this 9th day of November, 2004.
