Town of Badin Ordinance 04-7

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 92-3 – AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF NANTAHALA STREET

WHEREAS, the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin deems it in the best interest of the health and safety of the citizens of Badin to prohibit parking on the South side of Nantahala Street from the corner of Nantahala Street and Boyden Street traveling East to the corner of Nantahala Street and Maple Street, and;

WHEREAS, the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin deems it in the best interest of the health and safety of the citizens of Badin to prohibit parking on both sides of Nantahala Street from the corner of Hwy. 740 and Nantahala Street to the corner of Henderson Street and Nantahala Street, now;

BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin that this portion of Nantahala Street be designated a “No Parking” area by the proper signs.

This ordinance shall be effective as soon as said street areas are designated by the proper signs.
