Town of Badin Ordinance 05-2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RESTATING ORDINANCES 92-2 & 92-10 PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF MAPLE STREET
WHEREAS, the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin deems it in the best interest of the health and safety of the citizens of Badin to prohibit parking on the West side of Maple Street from the corner of Maple Street and Nantahala Street traveling South to the first alleyway on the right, and;
WHEREAS, the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin deems it in the best interest of the health and safety of the citizens of Badin to prohibit parking on the West side of Maple Street from the corner of Maple Street and Nantahala Street traveling North to the corner of Maple Street and Willow Street, and;
WHEREAS, the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin deems it in the best interest of the health and safety of the citizens of Badin to prohibit parking on both sides of Maple Street from the Country Club Access Road to the corner of Maple Street and Kirk Place, now;
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Badin Town Council of the Town of Badin that this portion of Maple Street be designated a “No Parking” area by the proper signs.
This ordinance shall be effective as soon as said street areas are designated by the proper signs.
